Workshop "Shopper Market Research in Russia. Solutions for the Retailers and Producers"
On June 29, 2010 the workshop "Shopper Market Research in Russia. Solutions for the Retailers and Producers" was hosted by GfK Rus.
The goal of the seminar was to demonstrate novel research tools in the area of eye-tracking and bio-sensory measurements which are now emerging to the shopper research worldwide. The key objective of the event was to introduce the tool to the key Russian retailers and producers to enable them to have an intrinsic insight into shopper behavior of Russians.
The key note speakers of the seminar Jessica Reiter and Scott McEachen have presented the technology developed by the GfK partner company EmSense in the area of the biosensory measurements which is widely used by the retailers and producers in the US and Europe.
Ulf Orbeck as a guest speaker presented a 3D Virtual Shop technology which enables to test various package designs, POS materials, and shelf layouts in a simulated virtual environment.
